Tropical Pitcher Plant - Nepenthes Diana - Carnivorous Plant

(Tropical Pitcher Plant - Nepenthes Diana - Carnivorous)
Nepenthes 'Diana' is a beautiful hybrid named after the lovely Diana Cantley who is the world's most prolific Nepenthes breeder.  This variety is almost certainly the world's most vigorous Nepenthes.  The cross is between a red Nepenthes ampullaria and Nepenthes (ventricosa x sibuyanensis). This plant is amazingly robust and can be grown in conditions from lowland to highland tropical.  It would make an excellent windowsill or terrarium plant and has even been grown as a semi-aquatic plant by some growers (see photos, note we generally recommend to pot it in Nepenthes soil). It also tolerates wet conditions quite well due to its ampullaria parentage and is able to thrive even being tray watered unlike most Nepenthes.   The first photo is a mature, older plant. The ensuing photos are representative of the plant that you'll receive. The third and fourth photo is the kit that comes with the plant (pot, growing media and plant). The last 3 photos show different ways our customers have been successful growing the plant in their homes. However, are recommendation is to start off with standard soil intended for carnivorous plants like Nepenthes. Growing instructions, a pot and growing media will be included in the shipment. CARNIVOROUS Nepenthes 'Alata' Tropical Pitcher Plant - Live Plant

(CARNIVOROUS Nepenthes 'Alata' Tropical Pitcher Plant - Live)
One of the easisest nepenthes. Especially suited for beginners. Most of the many nepenthes are easy to grow and readily adapt to the conditions inside the home. There are two distinct types based on the altitude where they typically grow: Highland- above 3,000 feet or Lowland- below 3,000 feet. Some growers break these out even further. Ultra Highland- above 6,000 feet, Intermediate (straddling both High and Low), and Ultra Lowland. All types are tropical and should be protected from temperatures below 40F. Highland types generally prefer cooler (yet still warm) temperatures: 65F - 90F during the day and 45F - 65F at night. The Lowland types prefer the same warm temperatures both night and day but will usually tolerate cooler nighttime temps around 60F - 70F. Given that most growers can't control temperatures that precisely, one can usually achieve success since many Nepenthes are adaptable to conditions inside the typical home. Zone 10. Grow in loose moist, but well-drained soil. Soil may be a mix of peat, perlite, bark, and vermiculite. Grow in bright, diffused light with high humidity (60%). Hardy from zones 10. Cephalotus Folliculari Carnivorous VERY RARE Australian Pitcher Plant 3 Seeds

(Cephalotus Folliculari Carnivorous VERY RARE Australian Pitcher Plant 3)
Cephalotus Folliculari is a genus which contains one species, Cephalotus follicularis, a small carnivorous pitcher plant. The pit-fall traps of the modified leaves have inspired the common names for this plant, which include Albany pitcher plant, Western Australian pitcher plant, fly-catcher plant or mocassin plant. native to South-western Australia. is a small, low growing, herbaceous species. Evergreen leaves appear from underground rhizomes, are simple with an entire leaf blade, and lie close to the ground. The pitchers start to grow as small hairy balls at the end of a stalk. Cephalotus forms two different leaves. In Summer and Autumn the plant produces small, about 3 cm to 5 cm pitchers. At the end of Autumn until late Spring, the plant produces normal green leaves. The insectivorous leaves are small and have the appearance of moccasins, forming the 'pitcher' of the common name. The pitchers develop a dark red colour in high light levels but stay green in shadier conditions. The 'pitcher' trap of the species is similar to other pitcher plants. The peristome at the entrance of the trap has a spiked arrangement that allows the prey to enter, but hinders its escape. The lid over the entrance, the operculum, prevents rainwater entering the pitcher and thus diluting the digestive...
